What is Poe, as an agent platform?
Poe is Quora’s AI app, where people chat with models from many companies and with bots other people have built. Its creator docs list six ways to build: prompt bots with custom instructions, server bots “with full programmatic control,” script bots, canvas apps, API bots that bring a model through a Chat Completions or Responses endpoint, and external applications.
Script bots “automate AI workflows by orchestrating multiple models and custom logic together.” You describe the bot to Script Bot Creator, which writes the Python, and Poe hosts it. Canvas apps are interactive web apps made with the App Creator bot, and they can send messages to Poe bots and show the answers. Creators can also earn from their bots through Poe’s monetization program.

Why do Poe bots need real-time intelligence?
A Poe bot is only as current as what it can reach. The models know a great deal, but not the 8-K filed an hour ago, the SAM.gov notice posted this morning or the political post that just moved a prediction market. A bot builder who wants that has to find a source, filter it and keep it running.

RoleRank compares new openings on official company job boards with your résumé as they are posted, and ranks the ones that fit.
On Poe, the ranked list can go straight to a writing model for a first cover-letter draft. You read it over and apply on the company’s own site.
