What ChatGPT could do with real-time intelligence: 6 use cases.
ChatGPT apps run on MCP, the same standard AgentStructure apps use. Here is what happens when the app that watches SEC filings, prediction markets or job boards sits in the same chat as the assistant that writes.

Key takeaways
The short version.
- ChatGPT is the largest AI assistant, with more than 800 million weekly users by OpenAI's count.
- Apps in ChatGPT run on the Apps SDK, which is built on MCP, the same open standard AgentStructure apps use to reach assistants.
- You can call an app by name in a chat, and ChatGPT can suggest one when it is relevant. Apps can show cards and widgets inline.
- ChatGPT is strongest where you think and write: drafting the proposal, the cover letter or the newsletter paragraph once an AgentStructure app has found what changed.
- Best fits: SEC Stock Signals, PoliticalPredictions.APP and RoleRank. A ChatGPT App Directory listing is not claimed.
About ChatGPT
What is ChatGPT, as an agent platform?
ChatGPT started as a chat window and has become a place where other software runs. In introducing apps in ChatGPT, OpenAI described “a new generation of apps you can chat with, right inside ChatGPT,” with launch partners such as Booking.com, Canva, Coursera, Expedia, Figma, Spotify and Zillow.
The Apps SDK is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and released as an open standard, so an app built for it can run anywhere that adopts MCP. You invoke an app by name, such as “Spotify, make a playlist,” or ChatGPT suggests one when it fits the conversation. Apps that meet OpenAI’s quality and safety standards are listed in an App Directory.
Why it matters
Why does ChatGPT need real-time intelligence?
ChatGPT can search the web when you ask, and it is excellent at turning facts into writing. What it does not do is sit on SEC EDGAR, SAM.gov or a company’s own job board and notice the change that matters to you. You have to know to ask, and you have to know what to ask about.
AgentStructure is the real-time intelligence layer personal AIs plug into. Because both sides speak MCP, an AgentStructure app can hand ChatGPT a structured signal (the filing, the market move, the ranked role) and ChatGPT can do what it does best with it: explain it, compare it and write about it.

Use cases
6 ways ChatGPT could use AgentStructure apps.
1. SEC Stock Signals
Ask what changed, get the filing explained.
SEC Stock Signals watches public filings for the companies on your watchlist and explains what each one could mean, in plain English, with a link to the original.
In ChatGPT you can call it by name: “SEC Stock Signals, anything new on my watchlist?” Then keep going in the same chat. Ask ChatGPT to compare the new risk factors with last year’s, or to turn three filings into one paragraph for your investment club. It explains; it does not tell you to buy or sell.
2. PoliticalPredictions.APP
From market move to finished paragraph.
PoliticalPredictions.APP watches public political posts around the clock and tells you which prediction markets you follow could move, with timestamps.
For a reporter or newsletter writer, ChatGPT is where the draft lives. Pull in the day’s biggest moves with their source posts, then ask ChatGPT to write the paragraph, check it against the timestamps, and suggest a headline. The signal is data only. It does not place positions.
3. RoleRank
Rank the roles, then write the cover letter.
RoleRank compares new openings on official company job boards with your résumé as they are posted, and ranks the ones that fit.
ChatGPT is where most people already rewrite résumés and cover letters. With RoleRank in the same chat, the ranked roles arrive with the reasons they fit, and ChatGPT can tailor the cover letter to the posting in one more message.
4. GovContracts.Money
Find the notice, outline the response.
GovContracts.Money watches federal opportunities on SAM.gov for the work you do, by NAICS code and keyword, and sends the good ones with the deadline and the official link.
A matched notice is the start of the work, not the end. In ChatGPT, a small contractor can go straight from the match to an outline of the response, a compliance checklist from the solicitation, and a first draft of the capability statement.
5. Catholic Reminders
Today's readings, and room to go deeper.
Catholic Reminders brings the feast, the saint, the readings and a short prayer each morning, and explains the week ahead whenever you ask.
ChatGPT is a good study partner. With today’s readings in the chat, a catechist can ask for discussion questions for a youth group, or a parent can ask for a two-minute explanation of the saint for the drive to school.
6. Comment2Chat
Write the replies that close the sale.
Comment2Chat turns comments and DMs on your social posts into conversations, answers, bookings and follow-ups, and tells you who is ready to buy.
A creator can bring the day’s leads into ChatGPT and ask which questions keep coming up, then have ChatGPT draft better answers for the next post’s FAQ.

How to
How would a ChatGPT user connect an AgentStructure app?
- 1Open the app's connect page on agentstructure.ai and create a free account.
- 2Add the app's MCP address to ChatGPT where your plan allows custom connectors.
- 3Call it by name in a chat, for example “SEC Stock Signals, anything new on my watchlist?”
AgentStructure apps reach assistants through their API and MCP, the protocol the Apps SDK is built on. A listing in ChatGPT’s App Directory is not claimed.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
What are apps in ChatGPT?
Apps in ChatGPT are interactive apps you can chat with inside ChatGPT, built with OpenAI's Apps SDK. The SDK is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and released as an open standard. You call an app by name or ChatGPT suggests one when it is relevant, and apps can show cards and widgets inline. Launch partners included Booking.com, Canva, Coursera, Expedia, Figma, Spotify and Zillow.
Can I use AgentStructure apps in ChatGPT?
AgentStructure apps reach assistants through their API and MCP, and each app's connect page gives the address. ChatGPT can use MCP connectors where your plan allows custom connectors. A listing in ChatGPT's App Directory is not claimed.
Why not just ask ChatGPT to search the web?
Search answers when you ask, and only if you know what to ask about. AgentStructure apps watch one source continuously, such as SEC EDGAR or SAM.gov, filter for what matters to you and explain the change, so ChatGPT starts from the right facts.
Which AgentStructure app fits ChatGPT best?
SEC Stock Signals, PoliticalPredictions.APP and RoleRank, because ChatGPT is strongest at explaining, comparing and writing once it has the facts: the filing, the market move or the ranked role.
Will ChatGPT trade or apply for me based on these signals?
No. In these examples ChatGPT explains and drafts, and you decide what to send or submit. AgentStructure signals are information only, not investment, betting or legal advice.
