The moment
It is 7 AM. What is today?
Some days you know. A great feast, Ash Wednesday, the first Sunday of Advent. Most days you do not. Is today a memorial? Which saint? What are the readings at Mass, and is it a day of fasting? You could look it up, and sometimes you do. More often the day starts and the question gets lost.
Catholic Reminders answers it before you ask. Each morning it brings you the liturgical day for the US Roman Rite: the feast or memorial, the saint of the day, links to the readings and a short prayer. In the evening it tells you what tomorrow holds and what is coming this week.
It is an independent Catholic resource, built with citations rather than commentary. It is not endorsed by the Vatican, the USCCB or the Catholic Church, and it does not try to replace your parish. It helps you know the day.
What it does
The calendar, one day at a time.
The app follows the liturgical calendar for the US Roman Rite. For any day you ask about, it tells you the celebration, the saint and the readings, with links to the readings at their official source rather than a copy of the text.
Signed in, you can add commitments, like a daily rosary or a novena, and the app keeps count with you. Ask about the week ahead and you get the feast days, fasting days and Sunday readings laid out in one message.
It watches
- The liturgical calendar for the US Roman Rite, every day
- Feast days, memorials, fasting days and the seasons ahead
- The commitments and novenas you choose to keep
It sends you
- A morning briefing: today’s feast, saint, readings and a short prayer
- An evening briefing: tomorrow, and the week ahead
- Answers whenever you ask what a day or a week means
A day in the life
A day with Catholic Reminders.
Morning and evening, the briefings arrive on their own. In between, you ask whatever comes to mind.
- 17:00 AMMorning briefing

- 212:15 PMJust ask
A lunchtime question, answered in one message.
- 37:00 PMEvening briefing
The evening briefing looks ahead and keeps your commitments with you.
Before and after
The difference between remembering and being reminded.
You remember to ask on the days you remember. On the left, one of those days. On the right, Catholic Reminders remembers every day.
Before: an assistant that waits
On the days you forget to ask, the day passes unnoticed.
After: an assistant that tells you first
The briefing comes to you, and the conversation picks up from there.

Prayer fits into the quiet corners of a day, and so should the reminders. Connected to your assistant, Catholic Reminders arrives as a gentle morning message in the chat you already use, with no new app to open.
Here is the simple version of how it works. Catholic Reminders exposes its abilities as MCP tools and a REST API. An assistant that supports MCP or API connectors can call those tools on a schedule, or the moment you ask, and relay the answer in the chat you already use. We cannot promise what any particular assistant supports today, so think of these as the doors we have built, ready for whichever assistant walks through them.
Muse.ai
Meta's personal AI, reachable in WhatsApp and iMessage-style chats. When Muse can use an MCP or API connector, it could ask Catholic Reminders for you and reply in the thread you already have open.
Instinct
An assistant that lives in WhatsApp. Connected the same way, it could check Catholic Reminders on a schedule or whenever you ask, and send the answer as a normal message.
Grok
xAI's assistant. Our apps were first built with Grok's app builder. Where Grok can reach MCP or API connectors, it could use Catholic Reminders too.
Claude, ChatGPT and others
Any assistant that can add an MCP server or call a REST API can use Catholic Reminders. You give it the app's address, then ask in plain English.
